Our Mission

Our mission is to nurture and encourage each child to learn and progress within a supportive environment, with dedicated practitioners that work together to provide a joyful, stimulating safe world for our children to explore and be themselves.

Our aim is to provide a range of fun and challenging indoor and outdoor activities to assist the children in their development in a warm and welcoming environment. We always strive to excel and adhere to best practice. While children are taught by all educators in a room, each child has a key carer who is the main person responsible for their personal development, well-being, and progress.

Maritime Minis is a Day Nursery for children from 3 months to 5 years. Minis is a family run nursery group in the heart of the community putting the children we care for at the heart of all that we do.

Very good nursery, clean, spacious and with a nice outdoor space. We see our baby is benefitting from attending the nursery and the staff are always very responsive, patient and communicative. It feels like a true partnership where we are all rowing in the same direction and we are grateful to have found a place nearby where we can trust that our little one is well looked after and that we are well informed about what happened during the day.

The space, facilities, food options and the staff are very good as compared to the other nurseries. We are very happy with sending our child to this nursery. They have a lot of cultural events, fire safety sessions for children and they even got eggs that hatched into little chicks so the children were able to see the process. Highly recommend this nursery!

I can’t recommend Maritime Minis highly enough. As reluctant as I was initially to hand over both of my children, and as reluctant as they were to leave my side, I feel completely confident that they’re in safe hands. Communication with the management team is exceptional (my requests, questions, observations have all been handled immediately and sensitively). Staff in the rooms are creative, fun and attentive and work to understand my daughters’ quirks and individuality. My daughter has been given 1:1 care on those occasions when she’s needed some extra TLC. The nursery has also managed the covid pandemic incredibly smoothly.

Great nursery! As a parent, I regularly get updates via the App on how my child is doing, which food he had, how he slept etc. The management is very diligent and responsive. The facilities are nice and there are plenty of toys and the outdoor space. Highly recommended!

Maritime Minis is amazing. Not only the teachers are great, knowledgeable and sweet but the management is also very helpful and responsive, which is rare from my previous experience. The location is very good and outdoors space has loads of things. Very happy and would highly recommend.
