Meet our management team

Experts in giving your children the best start in life!

Meet Tina Dellis, Nursery
Manager

Hello, my name is Tina and I have been the Nursery Manager at Maritime Minis for 5 years.

I have 25 years of working within the early years sector, working my way up from being a Lead Teacher to a managers position that I have held for 12 years.

I was very proud when I got my very first “outstanding” and my vision is to continuously provide quality childcare with an excellent service for all our children and families. I also wanted to create a friendly and happy workplace for our great team. I am a great believer that if we have happy team then we will have happy children. I have worked hard to ensure that we form and build strong relationships with all our families from their very first settle to their last day when they leave us for school.

I am very passionate about children and supporting them to develop into confident and independent young people ready to move to their next level in life.

Meet Sophie Collins, Deputy Manager

Hello, my name is Sophie and I am the Deputy Manager at Maritime Minis. I have worked in childcare for over ten years and have been working with Minis for the last eight. I joined back in 2016 as a Nursery Teacher, where I have worked my way to Deputy Manager. I have recently also qualified in a level 3 SENCO course, where I have now actively taken on this role at the nursery.

As SENCO, I support our children and families through what can be a challenging time of their journey. I work very closely with these families and have one-to-one sessions to ensure the children’s needs are being met. Being the nursery SENCO is such a rewarding role which I am fully embracing.

During my eight-year journey with Minis, I have always been supported to progress further and have been encouraged to pursue my dreams and ideas.

I always put the children and family’s needs first and take pride in having a wonderful partnership with our families. I love being the Deputy Manager at Maritime Minis and spend a lot of time in the rooms, as the Leader of Learning, where I support our team with any queries, ensuring that they are being listened to and their ideas can be implemented.

Being Deputy Manager can be a challenging role, however the joy and pride it fills me with, is so worth it.

More than just a joyful place to be
