As you may be aware from September 2024, the government introduced 15 hours of funding for working families. This applies the term after children turn nine months of age.

When your child turns nine months, the term that funding can be applied from:

Born 1st September – 31st December - Term starting 1st January

Born 1st January - 31st March - Term starting 1st April

Born 1st April – 31st August - Term starting 1st September

To apply for this funding, you will need to obtain a 11-digit code by applying through the link set out below (this will also check your eligibility).

Please be aware that all codes must then be revalidated every three months.

The main criteria to be met is over the next 3 months both parents/carers (or lone parent) must each expect to earn at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at National Minimum Wage and individually earn less than £100,000 per annum.

Once you have checked your eligibility and obtained your code, please complete the online form using the link below, which gives us permission to share your details with the local authority. This form will also ask for your 11-digit code, both parents’ national insurance numbers and evidence of your child’s date of birth and proof of address.

If you are joining the term after your child turns three, please also complete the declaration form by clicking on the link below.

No code is needed for 15 hours of universal funding, the term after a child's third birthday. If you are entitled to 30 hours, the form will ask for your 11 digit code.

Without the completed declaration and relevant code if required, we would be unable to apply the funding to your invoicing and full fees will become applicable.
